Usability Quote of the Day

February 9, 2012

Most people who encounter computer-based automation at work do not choose the software with which they work, and have comparatively little control over when and how they do what they do. Implementing a pattern library in the real world: a Yahoo! case study

A case study of the definition, design, and roll-out of an interaction design pattern library at Yahoo! Inc. The process for defining the requirements, design of the application, process for defining the lifecycle of a pattern, as well as the organizational challenges involved are all discussed.
