Many users confused by multiplicity of functions on modern gadgets

On complexity of cell phones - only select the functions you need ...

These days a mobile phone seems to be able to do just about anything - take photographs, play games, play back music and act as personal assistant.

The biggest mistake of Handsets manufacturers is to keep on calling these devices "Mobile Phones".

A person buying a "Mobile Phone" is not prepared to use a multipurpose device.

The only natively multipurpose oriented concept is the "Computer" : people are not worried to surf, write, listen, record or even telephone (skype) with it.

The 06-07 Revolution in electronics device won't be technical (as so-called mobile phones from Nok or Moto are already computers) but essentially semiotic when smart companies will skip the dumb oxymoron of "Smartphones" to build around the generic concept of Symbiotic (24/7) Computers...
