"The Focus-Metaphor approach combines aspects of design theory, cognition psychology and educational theory to create a more natural way of interaction. With the design of the Focus-Metaphor it was intended to achieve advancements over commonly used metaphors (e.g. desktop metaphor, portal metaphor) and counteract effects like “second visit blindness on websites” [10].
